Server messages possible ?

...On BP that is .. I know it can be done with an addition to the Server cfg file in most instances .

Reason I ask is that it might increase the amount of posts/player involvement here on the forums if a server message showing the "Server Chat" threads for each server was displayed a few times during the sessions .

Just a thought..

bp sourcecode should be released to public as it was advertised two months ago. i believe there are a lot peeps out there that could do easy improvements to the mod, such as messages and stuff...

If there existed an actual, fully manageable chat interface in Arma, I'd agree... I haven't really played any other mods, don't know what kinda chat elements they have built or what is possible to do there.

Not so much a chat interface as just showing a link to the BP forums, or the "server chat"  thread for whatever server people are on ...
Its pretty quiet on these forums ...

Its not a hard thing to set up normally, unless there is a conflict with something in the mod .

BEC is running on the servers and is capable of doing that easily...
